What are you currently focused on most?
I am currently focused on enjoying every moment onboard while providing the best experience for guests through the knowledge and skills that I have crafted over the years working with GCO.
What I love most about GLOBAL CASINO OPERATIONS.
I love the fact that I get to discover the world and travel to places I have never dreamed of going, while fulfilling my passion. Traveling the world has really opened my eyes and I’m grateful for the position I’m in.
My best GCO memory.
I would say that my best memory comes from my second contract with GCO, when the ship I was on was sailing around Europe. I would pretty much get off every port day with my friends from onboard and see all the iconic landmarks, like Eifel Tower in Paris, Grand Canal in Venice or the Godafoss waterfall in Iceland… It was so much fun!

What are you currently focused on most?
As casino host I am the face of casino, my main focus is to be consistent, effective, and to have a genuine interest to serve people to set an example to all my colleagues by offering to our guests an extraordinary service.
What I love most about GLOBAL CASINO OPERATIONS.
What I love most about GCO is we share the same vision, the dedication of each employees, it has nice work culture and allows employees to work freely. Also there is good support from seniors and managers. Employees are motivated and appreciated for their efforts.
My best GCO memory.
My best GCO memory for me is aside from traveling the world, is when our guests appreciate our service to them. To see them satisfied and leave a memory that last forever, for me that’s an accomplishment.

To progress within the company by learning as much as I can, to one day move up to a higher position.
What I love most about GLOBAL CASINO OPERATIONS.
GCO gave me the opportunity to work and travel the world, something that was impossible for me to achieve on my own before joining the company.
My best GCO memory.
The most pleasant memories are from my first contract, I met a lot of good people whom I became very close friends with and I still keep in contact. The amazing experience from my first contract continues to motivate me and I look forward to many more years working onboard.

What are you currently focused on most?
My current goal is to excel in my work performance, be more efficient and productive, I am seeking career growth and a chance to advance.
What I love most about GLOBAL CASINO OPERATIONS.
Since I started work with GCO, I have always felt to be part of a family away from home, a place which gives me the feeling that I belong. I am very grateful for the opportunities that I received while working for GCO, I am very happy in this harmonious environment.
My best GCO memory.
I remember with joy my first contract and especially the first day onboard back in 2007, I can recall it very clearly, the time when I was so nervous because I was new to shipboard life and most importantly to the Casino environment. I cannot express how thankful I was to receive amazing support from the Casino Manager and the Cage Manager at that time. They truly made me feel that I have nothing to be worried about, they lifted my morale and they welcomed me to the Carnival Family in the most upbeat way. Throughout my first contract, I have been pushed in the right direction, my managers believed in me and gave me the right motivation to continue. 12 years later and counting up, I am still here part of a great family.

When did you join the GCO Team?
August 2014.
What are you currently focused on most?
Currently I am focused on learning more of the cage operation in order to grow more and improve my overall performance. In addition, I am always focused on providing excellent customer service to our guests.
What I love most about GLOBAL CASINO OPERATIONS.
That I’m able to earn money while travelling the world, and meeting all kinds of different people.
My best GCO memory.
When I had the chance to invite my family onboard and let them experience cruising, going to sleep in one city and waking up in another. My mom was so amazed and that made me so happy.

When did you join the GCO Team?
I joined Global Casino Operations September of 2016.
What are you currently focused on most?
Recently I got the big opportunity to be acting Dealer Cashier on the Amsterdam, a position that I have being pursuing since two contracts ago. I got the chance to develop my skills, learn more about Casino Operations and take full responsibility as a cashier, and that is what I am currently focused on, to be fully promoted as a DC and keep growing as a professional and as a person.
What I love most about GLOBAL CASINO OPERATIONS.
Working on GCO brings great joy for me. Since most of the time the Casino remains closed during port hours, I usually have enough hours to get off the ship and enjoy the port of call we arrive in by either wandering around on my own or being part of a tour as an escort.
My best GCO memory.
At the beginning of 2019 while working on the Nieuw Statendam our Casino Manager at that time booked for us a sunset sail tour on a catamaran in Cozumel. The tour included snacks, dinner and an open bar. Me and the rest of Casino team had the time of our lives, swimming in open sea, drinking cocktails and enjoying the food.
