Casino staff is required to interact with the guests as well as provide competent and professional dealing skills. For this reason we require a high level of spoken English. The casino is generally closed in ports giving the staff the opportunity to relax in the exciting ports of call. The cardinal rule as a Carnival Corporation employee is superior guest service. That’s why our ships do not specify a closing time – our objective is to accommodate each guest to the very best of our ability, and closing is always subject to business demands. Because the casino is rarely open in port, the number of hours worked per week will vary according to the ship you are assigned to and the route it sails.
